The World Fashion Designer Dress
Event is a one-of-a-kind spectacle unique to Miss World, and allows
contestants from all corners of the globe the unprecedented opportunity
to showcase some of the finest couture pieces from their home countries
and their favourite designers.
Each year, designers, ranging from
high-end couturiers to talented family members clamour at the
opportunity to dress Miss World contestants, and at the end of the
event, the garment deemed as the most beautiful wins the coveted Miss
World - World Designer Dress Award.
This morning the contestants found out which designers made it into the Top 10 and the results are as follows!

Indonesia - Windy Chandra Couture
Tanzania: When I walked in today, I couldn’t believe that I was the only contestant to wear African print. It took me by surprise at first but then I realized just how unique this dress really is and how proud I am to represent my African culture. I want people to see just how creative, talented, and absolutely fun African people are!
